For a good collection, I am ready and willing to photograph, catalogue and promote them here but not store them. Special deals can be struck particularly for the first two or three substantial collections.
The sooner the auction page has some great bikes listed, the better the auction will be for everyone.

Dawes Ultra Galaxy 2006, Metallic Grey Reynolds 853 Chromoloy for sale. Frame size 55cm. 27 gears (3 x 9) Shimano.
A mid 1980s J F Wilson road bike with Reynolds 525 Triathalon tubing 23.5” CTC frame and Shimano 105 7 speed indexed group set with Spidel pedals. On Rush rims, Pelissier hubs and new Continental GP5000 23mm tyres. A freshly installed Tange headset and Shimano sealed bottom bracket. All cables and covers have been replaced and the alloy Mod Europa Superacing Italmanubr handlebars have recently fitted bar tape.
This bike is a super ride. The owner recently rode his fastest 30K on this in ten years in the heat.
Note: The Pelissier hubs now have Shimano axles and cones with new Grade 10 ball bearings. The original but worn hub components and the Shimano cup and cone bottom bracket are included in the sale for reference purposes. A previous owner has touched up paint chips in the frame with a red probably nail varnish. The original paint is a glittering red!
Not included: Brooks saddle (the possibly original plastic one is somewhere in the owners garage), QR saddle bag mount and the mounting brackets for light and phone.
Bonus: A read copy of Nigel Wilson’s biography of his father “Jim Wilson: He Hath Courage”. The owner has read about his war time exploits but has the riding – Jim and his team Wilson Cycles’ 1957 season still holds the record for the number of British road race wins in any one season, and the frame maker from 1948 still to read.
Rudge Whitworth 1898 Model – Light Roadster Tricycle
• Built in Coventry in 1900
• 5/8” pitch chain (as opposed to usual ½”)
• Extending chain stays for tensioning chain
• Abingdon axle driving both rear wheels through a differential
• Original v-section mudguard (a new feature in 1900) and one (of a pair) of original rear wheel mudguards incorporating ‘skirt’ guards
• New top tube fitted in 1995 (pump pegs and pump fitte d at same time)
• Chater Lea pedals with cottered cranks
• Mounting treads: replacements moulded from originals borrowed from Coventry Museum of Transport.
• Stirrup brake
• Brooks B15 saddle probably from 1930s
• Front Lamp: ‘Rudge Whitworth 815’ oil lamp with red side glass, probably manufactured by Lucas
• Rear Lamp: Lucas ‘Warna’ oil lamp dating from 1919

Halford circa 1900 – 1” pitch block chain right hand drive
• 1” pitch block chain driving right hand wheel (this is unusual as it would tend to push the tricycle into the gutter)
• Swivelling bottom bracket to tension chain (a method dating back to 1880s)

Claud Butler Super “HM” Club Model Road Bike – Circa 1931
Frame number 43231. Built at Herndon Rd, SW18. The frame number indicates that the frameset was stamped before being sent to the paint shop on the 3rd February 1931. Frameset repainted dark green.

Fork. Russ pattern with 7/8″ diameter round blades

Locknut – Unknown but possibly Brampton

Handlebar stem – “Major Taylor” type.
Handlebar bend – “North Road” pattern fitted in raised position.
Wheels – Dunlop EA3 26″x1 3/8″ stainless steel,32 and 40 hole fitted with double-butted 15/17 gauge Torrington stainless steel spokes.
Front hub – British Hub Co’s “Solite” .
Rearhub – Sturmey-Archer “T” two speed automatic hub gear of 1935 with a 14 tooth sprocket. Original 1935 top tube changer and cable.
Chainwheel – Williams 36t B100 double flanged 5 screw fixing date coded “AA” to indicate 1938 as the date of manufacture.
Bottom bracket set – Bayliss-Wiley.
Cranks – Williams 6 1/2″
Pedals – Cyclo “Cyclo-Ace” of 1937 pattern. Also listed in 1950. So date uncertain.
Front brake – GB “Coureur” side pull. Probably 1950s Brake lever. Resillion aluminium.
Saddle – Brooks B17 “Champion Narrow” C1932.
Mudguards – Bluemel “Popular” black plastic C1950s/60s
